I guarantee the quality and craftsmanship of our work and above all else want you to be satisfied. Please contact us immediately if you have any questions or concerns about an order.
IN STOCK ITEMS – These are items that are not created as a custom order. May be exchanged or returned for a refund less shipping costs. Must be unworn and returned in the original packaging with any accompanying certificates. Returns accepted up to 5 days after delivery and must be sent back fully insured with delivery confirmation. No returns or exchanges will be accepted after five days. Original shipping charges are not refundable. Restocking fee will be deducted from the refundable amount (15% for items less than $500. Flat fee of $75.00 per item if over $500.). Contact me here within 5 days of receipt for more details .Earrings are final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned for sanitary reasons. All exchanges/returns requires a Return Authorization number.
NOTE: We recommend that you (1) use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns and (2) insure your package for safe return to BMJNY or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are completely protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you choose not to, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.
CUSTOM ORDERS – Barbara Michelle Jacobs (“BMJNYC”) does not offer refunds or exchanges for Special Order items which are hand crafted specifically for you. Raw materials are purchased for each custom order and great care is taken to make everything as requested. PLEASE double check ring size before ordering. There is a resizing charge of 40.00 on most rings plus shipping. Some rings cannot be resized. Each custom piece is photographed during an extensive quality control procedure before shipping. Please note that handmade jewelry does vary ever so slightly from piece to piece, due to its nature, making each truly one of a kind.
If you receive an item that is not to your satisfaction contact me immediately. We will work with you to correct the situation repairing or altering the item. If there was an oversight in manufacturing, revisions are made at no charge. If the slip was due to customer error, any additional charges will be fair and reasonable. Every effort will be made so you will be happy with your purchase. Please do understand that handmade jewelry varies ever so slightly from piece to piece making yours truly one of a kind. Every piece is photographed during our extensive quality control procedure before shipping.
RING SIZES:
Most rings are available in full, half and quarter sizes. I take great care to make everything as you request it. PLEASE double check ring size before ordering. In-stock rings may sized once before shipping at no additional charge. Rings sent back to me for resizing incur a fee of $40.00 each plus shipping. Some rings with stones all the way around the band cannot be resized.
